Christie has unveiled two new RGB pure laser projectors: the M 4K15 RGB and M 4K+15 RGB. These projectors, belonging to the M 4K RGB Series, boast an impressive 15,750 lumens output, making them ideal for the most demanding applications, including staging and live events, projection mapping spectacles, and theme park attractions.

Joel St-Denis, director of product management at Christie, highlighted the legacy of innovation that the M Series has upheld since its introduction in 2007. He stated, “Our original M Series projectors, first introduced in 2007, were our most successful line of Pro AV projectors with over 16,000 units sold. Our new models continue the tradition of innovation which has made the M Series so popular, combining ruggedness, reliability, and brightness into a compact chassis.”

Simplifying installation and operation, Christie has introduced features that offer full brightness at both 120V and 220V, omnidirectional rigging capabilities, and TruLife+ electronics, eliminating the need for costly removable options cards. Weighing 83.8 pounds (38.1 kg), the M 4K15 RGB and M 4K+15 RGB projectors stand as the lightest 3DLP projectors in their class.

These new projectors maintain compatibility with legacy M, J, and Crimson Series lenses, as well as M Series rigging frames, offering additional cost-saving benefits.

Leveraging RGB pure laser illumination, the projectors deliver dynamic, luminous, and true-to-life visuals that encompass nearly 98% of the Rec.2020 color gamut. Moreover, they operate quietly at 43 dBA, ensuring an immersive viewing experience without distractions.

With a 2700:1 contrast ratio and 4K UHD (3840x2160) resolution, the M 4K15 RGB model is available. Meanwhile, the M 4K+15 RGB model offers a contrast ratio of 2200:1 and 4K UHD+ (3840x2400) resolution. For applications demanding elevated frame rates, optional Mirage and Mirage Pro upgrades provide 4K at 120 Hz and HD resolution reaching up to 480 Hz.
