LG Business Solutions USA has introduced a groundbreaking series of "Patient Engagement Boards," revolutionizing hospital environments by equipping patient rooms with crystal-clear high-definition screens. These cutting-edge displays serve as dynamic hubs for vital patient information such as names, schedules, caregiving teams, preferred languages, and more. Currently available, the lineup includes a 43-inch UHD model and a 32-inch FHD model, both UL-listed for Health Care and endowed with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability. This innovative feature ensures optimal solutions and straightforward installation, catering to a wide range of patient room requirements.

"In a progressively digitized healthcare landscape, in-room displays offer patients and caregivers unparalleled clarity and adaptability, leaving traditional analog whiteboards behind," affirmed Tom Mottlau, LG Business Solutions USA's healthcare director. "Our collaborative work with patient engagement experts has harnessed the robust LG webOS 6.0 platform to develop intuitive applications that replace handwritten notes, eliminating the challenges tied to illegible writing and unclear directives. These advancements bolster communication and patient trust, ultimately culminating in enriched overall experiences."

Engineered for enhanced patient and caregiver experiences, as well as streamlined administrative and IT operations, the LG Patient Engagement Boards (ML5K-B Series) are a game-changer. Swift deployment is a hallmark of the 32-inch model, facilitated through Power over Ethernet (PoE), effectively bypassing the usually extensive approval procedure tied to altering a room's electrical setup. Elevating convenience, each display boasts an automatic brightness sensor that optimizes viewing comfort by aligning with ambient light conditions throughout the day.

Both models can be flexibly wall-mounted in either vertical or horizontal orientations using 200x200 VESA mounts. Powered by LG IPS panels, both displays ensure extended durability with up to 50,000 hours of operational life, rendering them exceptionally suitable for continuous 24/7 utilization. With integrated stereo speakers, the deployment process is further streamlined, offering the versatility to showcase a diverse range of content.

The 43-inch 43ML5K-B model delivers a noteworthy typical brightness of 500 nits and features a 25 percent haze treatment to diminish glare. On the other hand, the 32-inch 32ML5K-B variant achieves 400 nits under standard power conditions, and 200 nits through PoE.

Tom Mottlau emphasized LG's unyielding commitment to advancing healthcare spaces with the latest display technologies, spanning from diagnostic displays to ultra-secure thin client computing solutions and now extending to the innovative Patient Engagement Boards. He stated, "As healthcare institutions embark on envisioning and crafting their future hospital rooms, LG remains dedicated to continuous innovation that aligns with their evolving requirements."
